Suzanne is invited to tracel and study in Urelnad, Wales, England, France, Belgiu,. and the Netherlands in 2007. Join other outstanding high school students from the Tulsa region who are eligible for People to People, an educational exploration program founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Suzanne has been named for this honor by a teacher, former Student Ambassador or national academic listin.
Suzanne can experience 20 days of rewarding activities and meet the people of Ireland, Wales, England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, all while earning high school or university credit. Your local delegation will represent the United States overseas, experince new cultures and make lifelong friends. Suzanne will advance as a young leader through special access and focused excursions and will gain:
*Confidence and leadership- witness the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace and see the Tower of London.
*Cultural understanding- Explore Shakespeare's birthplace, see "Mona Lisa" at the Louvre and sample Belgian chocolate.
*World awareness- meet a member of Parliament, step into history in Europe's medieval castles and cisit the Anne Frank House where she hid with her fmaily during World War II.
*Friendship and Memories- Bond with other delegates at the top of the Eiffel Tower, ride the London Eye and see the world's largest flower auction.
Join other interested students and their parents at a local information meeting in late October to learn more about the Student Ambassador Program.
